As part of this effort, the research will focus on detecting and measuring markers of racial bias in 2018 local news coverage of candidates running for state and national office.
Projects are staffed on an as needed basis. We are always looking for people who are interested in getting involved in data research. This is a part-time, freelance role. Compensation is based on the number of records completed. A background in journalism, research and information services or project-related subject matter expertise is preferred.
